USE Search Help

The USE search function allows you to search individual resources or to search multiple information resources by selecting a category of information.

The USE search screen displays when you log in using the USE login.

In the USE Search screen, you can either select an individual resource in the Go direct to field OR enter search terms in the Search box.

Go direct to

The Go direct to field is at the top of the screen and looks like this:

Click on the down arrow and click on the resource you want. It will display automatically.

The search box

The search box looks like this:

1. Type in your search term(s) in the Search field using AND/OR to combine terms.
2. Select a content group to search (over, drugs/guidelines, etc.). A dropdown list displays for each one to further refine your selection, OR select a thesaurus to map your terms to.
3. Click on the button.
