Health libraries and the librarians who staff them aim to facilitate informed decision making in health care, research, education and administration. Effective use of libraries can contribute to the knowledge and efficiency of professionals working in hospitals and other organisations.

Please note ...

... that many health libraries are not public libraries and may only be open to employees who work in that hospital or Area Health Service. They cannot be approached directly to supply you with documents, even if you know that they hold the journal required. Go to a library in your own hospital or Area and if the journal is not held there, ask about an inter-library loan.
